Online stock swing or stay the day

Perhaps one the best perks to being an online trader is the convenience of being able to buy or sell with just the click of a mouse. The more the traders get educated they can decide if the want to swing trade or day trade. It seems that the main issue they are up against is timeframe. They need to decide if they like the longer term investing or the rapid fire trades. The day traders are groomed to do the instant desperation or the instant gratification which depends on the outcome of the transaction. The day trader can move around and watch different stocks in the same industry so he can take advantage of sudden swings in the market for profits. By using the technique you eliminate your exposure from holds. This can be a tiring task as you have to sit in front of your computer for hours on end. If you do frequent trading you run the risk of stacking up large bills for your trading fees. So it goes without says that for day traders, trading fast also means to trade smart. When a day trader has to leave the comfort of his or her computer you can be sure that they are still connected via cell phone or some other mobile device as they can get updates wired directly to them. Day traders are much like hunters in a sense much like the thrill of the hunt. They are driven by the rush of the excitement just as much as the profits from beating the other traders out on a winning score. The swing trader has it a bit different. They look for cycles and they always hope that they are in the right one to get the most profits. The swing traders use technical analysis when making their trading decisions. They may even use such things as options and the future. They increase their risks when they wait for the right moment. Part of their strategy is to wait out the fluctuations rather then move on the trends. They also do not have to pay as much in fees as they trade less often. There is also the long term swing strategy. This type of trader depends on the information that they get from the indexes coupled with the fundamental and technical analysis to make their trading decisions. The longer the time span is of weeks or even months can help the long term swing trader in giving him or her some protection against the quirks or blips in the market day which usually are not real trends. There are just some stocks that need time to level out, which the day traders may miss. The thing that the swing traders miss out on is the fast break day trading style. This can be recovered with some patience and perseverance. When the long term swing traders wins it is usually a big win which make it all worth while. When you go from the day trading to the swing trading it can be like cutting teeth. It moves slowly at first but it gives the trader time to learn the ropes and they can become an expert in one or more industries. The new long term swing traders can take the slower pace which is preferred as they have a chance to make good profits from the online trading.

Internet banking pros and cons for your business

Many businesses now use internet banking as they deem it to be even safer than the traditional method. Once suppliers' details have been entered in correctly the payment goes directly to their bank account within 3 working days. Traditional Method With the traditional method you get to deal with real people but there is a lot that can go wrong. The teller might punch in the wrong amount or you might arrive at the wrong time and end up queuing. You might run out of cheques or even forget your chequebook at the office when you most need it. Once you have written a cheque and mailed it you are relying on the post office to deliver your mail on time and to the right address. They often get it wrong. You need to wait for a statement to find out your account balance unless you are brave and have hours to kill whilst you listen to "your business is very important to us, please hold while we transfer you to the next available operator." Opening Hours With the traditional method you are tied down to normal working hours. Online banking is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day as long as you have access to the internet. With internet banking you cut out the middle man and transfer the funds directly to your supplier's bank account. It is also possible to access your bank statements day or night without having to wait weeks / months for the banks to deal with your request. Speed Bank transfers are often dealt with speedier than traditional banking. Some of my transactions definitely happen quicker through online banking. I can also access all my accounts from one secure site. You can check your bank statements for any period in the past without having to search for a long lost file! Offers Some banks now offer special deals for their online business customers only. It is possible to get cheaper loans with lower setup costs, credit cards with lower transaction charges and applying for a loan online is also quicker. Security Be very careful with your login details and do not write down your password anywhere. Always log out once you have finished your business and regularly run anti-spyware software on your computer. Spyware tries to monitor your usage of your computer and collect your personal information and use it against you. There have been breaches of internet banking in the past but now online banking technology is more sophisticated and secure. Suitability Internet banking might not suit you if you like to see who you are dealing with. If you are a "technophobe" & feel insecure about doing large transactions online then it is definitely not right for you. On the other hand if you hate queuing, despise the time it takes for duplicate statements and hate being bogged down by traditional opening hours then the convenience of online banking can not be beaten. I use a mixture of online and face to face banking. Some things can only be discussed face to face with my bank manager.

Cost of spam and why use anti spam filter

E-mail is now being abused. The flow of spam on the Internet is the proof. It is annoying to download hundreds of disgusting spam emails into the inbox looking for some legitimate messages. Not only you waste your valuable time to delete junk emails by hand, you also waste your money as each spam message in your inbox takes precious kilobytes of bandwidth you paid for. In addition, spam messages can contain viruses, which can infect your computer system, and hidden tracking codes, which work as soon as you click on the message and let the spammer know that your email address is valid. With all that said, it would be great to delete the messages that you don’t want to receive beforehand and launch your email client to pull down only good emails. Anti-spam software can do this for you. It helps you fight against annoying spam. There is a wide choice of anti-spam filters available on the Internet. The common services or features they offer are: • Whitelist and Blacklist. The decision whether an email message is spam or good is taken based on the sender’s email address. The whitelist contains “friendly” email addresses, and the blacklist contains potential spammers, or simply people you don’t want to communicate with. • Filtering based on the message subject or content. Some words or phrases are met in spam emails more often than others. These are usually vulgar or adult words (sometimes too offending). Thus, filtering based on a keyword is rather helpful. • Virus scanning. There is possibility that spam email contains a virus in the attachment. Certain anti-spam programs allow you block emails with various suspicious attachments. • Automatic spam detection. Some anti-spam filters can check inbound email and delete the emails they consider as spam automatically at a regular basis. • Email recovering. Some spam blockers provide you with the ability to move spam emails to a quarantine folder and keep them for a fixed number of days. In addition, there is the possibility to recover an email from the trash if you need it. So, with the great features and benefits that antispam software offers, you can now easily block the majority of spam emails.

Interior decorating franchise business opportunity from home to the big leagues

To work a business opportunity from home that has the potential to not only earn you enough money to meet all of your financial obligations but that might actually become something bigger is the dream of many a first time franchisee. The problem with franchises by and large is the fact that the initial investment is staggering, and more often than not you will need to furnish a storefront, hire employees, and get up to speed on inventories and other merchant duties before you even open your door to the general public. Even those who have the money to invest in a franchise of this kind hesitate simply because of the seemingly overwhelming tasks that must be braved right away. There is little time to get to know the business, get your feet wet, and gradually increase your comfort level. Fortunately, this does not hold true of all franchises and if you are considering the step of searching for a business opportunity from home which has the potential to grow exponentially with your experience as well as your comfort level, interior decorating may be the way to go. The reason that this business opportunity lends itself to successful work from home practice as well as franchise potential rests solely in the fact that it relies heavily on the person to person contact that is generally made in the customer’s home; there you can shine and will quickly find out if you have what it takes to pursue this line of work. To take your interior decorating franchise business opportunity from home to the big leagues, you will need to have an intuitive panache for colors, shapes, fashion trends, and the ability to make something beautiful out of something that might look a bit rough around the edges. Being stylish can be taught, but having an eye for color and the ability to pick out bits and pieces from a hodge podge of mismatched decorations and showing a client how to find better combinations and add certain fabrics or colors to make a room work is not something that can be taught. While product knowledge and understanding of interior decorating is easily retained through a few courses, the confidence to walk into a customer’s house and survey the area and then find a positive, upbeat, and respectful way to not only challenge the home owner’s decorating acumen but also move the customer to joyfully follow your suggestions and purchase products you suggest takes an authority that does not come from book learning. If you have what it takes to become an interior decorating franchisee, there are a number of nationwide businesses that work with local franchisees to sell their products. Generally speaking, you will need about $50,000 in capital for start up costs as well as initial inventory maintenance. In addition to the foregoing, you will need to purchase or lease a commercial van or large SUV so that you can transport the displays to the customers’ homes. While these expenditures may seem prohibitive to the uninitiated, they are considerably less when compared to other franchise opportunities. Add to this the fact that you will not have to worry about the labor side of a franchise location or the legalities of obtaining licenses, permits, and inspections that many a facility oriented franchise business perforce requires, this business opportunity from home to big leagues is an easy transition indeed.

A sure fire formula for getting your prospects to read every word of your email message

If you get this lesson right, then you’ll be able to get folks hanging on your every word like monkeys hang on trees. :o) And, if you can follow these simple instructions, you’ll get it right quicker than you can say “Pass me a banana.” It's one thing to get your prospects to OPEN your email and actually take a look at it. But, what happens when they open it? Today, I’m going to show you how to make sure they read every word of it. You’d like to learn how to get them to do that, wouldn’t you? :o) Good. There are only two simple things you’ve got to do… 1. Create an "I've gotta take a closer look" opening sentence. Did you notice the opening sentence of this lesson? What happened? I got your attention. Here’s why. I got your attention firstly because I made you a promise that appeals to you. You want folks to hang on your every word as they read your emails. How do I know you want this? If you've already read the title and started reading the article, so I know what you're interested in. I pushed a button that I know will get your attention. Nothing fancy or magical. I just tapped into something that you already have a desire for. And, secondly, it got your attention because that promise hinges on YOU. Now, you’re INVOLVED. You’re involved because I’ve already told you that it’s up to you. You control the outcome here. It’s not based on a roll of the dice or the luck of the draw… Results are up to YOU getting this lesson right. First things first, you want to get their attention immediately. Use that first sentence wisely. Fire your big guns. It is THE MOST POWERFUL and INFLUENTIAL part of your entire email message. If it doesn’t produce results, folks just won’t read any further. Let them know from the get go that something important is awaiting them in the email. Give them a reason to read on. And then… 2. Create short paragraphs that continue to lead the reader along. In the opening sentence I gave you something to get your attention. I focused you in on a result, an outcome, something you can control. And then, later, I asked a question to refocus you… “You’d like to learn how to get them to do that, wouldn’t you? :o)” And how did I follow that up? By saying… “Good. There are only two simple things you’ve got to do…" At this point I’ve already let you know that YOU can expect results if you do something right in this lesson. You’re ready to go. And then a bit later I let you know that it’s only going to require two simple things. Do I have any doubt in my mind that you’ll read on to find out what those two things are? Nope. I don’t care who you are, if you read up to that point, you’ll keep reading. You want to know what those two simple things are. And now you’ve found out in steps one and two above. But, there’s even more for you to learn. See, I did it again. I refocused you. I grabbed your attention again. “There’s even more for you to learn.” The key is to constantly regrab the attention. Don’t let it get boring. Don’t let it go stale. Do you watch boring movies… or do you like exciting ones that leave you begging for more? Consider your email as a movie. And you’re the director. Keep me on the edge of my seat. And, when you do that, you’ll have your leads reading every word of your email message, from start to finish. Kind of like how you just read every word of this message.

The seo guide part 1

: It helps you to get your web site to appear in search engine result pages (SERPs) for keywords that that are relevant to your business. Google, MSN, and Yahoo all use their own formulas to calculate the relevance of your pages, but here are a few common factors to guarantee you will rank above those not using them. Of course, one of the most important factors you want to check out is the company's track record of results. There are a couple of factors that have effect on your search engine positioning, here is one important one, the on-page optimization factors. If you want a healthy return on investment (ROI) with search engine optimization (SEO), your success – or failure – hinges on the keywords you select when combined with other factors like link popularity and web site design. This would include such tasks like modifications to your keywords, description, title tags, comment tags, alt descriptions, and title descriptions of anchors and the actual text of your web page. The TITLE tag first is the most important part, the “< TITLE >” tag. Words people are most likely to search on put first in the title (called "keyword prominence"). Optimizing Your Title Tag. This is because most engines & directories place a high level of importance on keywords that are found in your title tag. Your page title is one long uninterrupted road sign instead of several small ones. If it was possible to master seo techniques, and be sure that we can get high rankings by editing just the Meta tags that would be very easy, but this is only one part of search engine optimization, but that’s just not going to happen. These factors all relate to your own site and include your domain name, page names, meta tags, keyword density, titles, headings and last but not least the content. Optimizing your meta tags and dropping a few keywords into your web site won't pay the rent. Things like the page title, Meta tags, heading tags, comment tags, and anchor text were the only things that mattered. Back couple of years ago you could just tweak, title, headers and description on each page and by doing this you could create fantastic seo results. By including local information in your tags and web pages, you help prospective customers find specific information on the area and business they are searching for. Localized search engine optimization is the addition of local search terms to your tags and web pages. Keywords / Description / Alt Tags / Title Tags / Page Content. Make sure that all your tags properly closed and that there are no tags missing, when search engines spider your site and your pages are not complete the search engines might ignore the page. The science is formatting the pages with the right meta tags and submitting them in the right way to the search engines. Search Engines are also interested in the text of the site. Anchor text is the text the web visitor sees on the web page, which is hyperlinked to your domain name or URL. When submitting to other sites use your keyword phrase for your anchor text when ever possible. You can just take it that plain text is the food for search engine spiders. earch engines.

Watch out for the red fraud alert flags

When considering any online business venture there are certain flags that fly freely, warning you that your money could be wasted and there are a few other flags that may not be as prominently displayed. Of course, as more people begin to recognize the warning signs of fraudulent business practices, the designers of these sites are become more adept of shielding them from view until it is too late. One of the most prominent of the warning signs is contact information. Names and email addresses are usually dominant in online advertisements, but if you call the number during normal business hours and the phone is answered by a six-year-old there's a good chance the owner of the business does look at it as a professional operation. How the person answers the phone can be a good clue as to how they operate and whether or not it is a legitimate business. Now, everyone knows that home-based businesses run the risk of having a child answer the phone, during normal business hours that is typically taboo among true professionals. You may want to have website in front of you when you do call the person listed on the site, and focus your queries on the business, attempting to determine how prolific they are. After all, they will be the one training you to operate the business. If there is no phone number or physical address, it is best just to close the ad and move on to the next one. If there is a physical address, you can verify its authenticity through the postal service's online service and quickly determine if it is a legitimate business address or something someone made up just to make people think they have an address. You may then through the online phone book, attempt to find the phone number for the address and if it is not listed on purpose, you will want to ask why they do want to be contacted. If there are different program levels to choose from, with the higher costing levels paying high commission rates, you have to wonder why you have to pay a monthly fee in order to work for them. Sure, many companies charge a franchise fee, but what do you get for that fee? Training by the person who let their six-year-old answer the phone? Any support in advertising the site that does not make you sign up and pay for another service? After reading the entire site, if you do not know what it is you will be doing, chances are it is not a legitimate business. Most real businesses will be up front about their product or service and won't make you buy it in order to become a distributor. You may also want to consider the legalities of requiring someone to stock merchandise in order to earn sales commissions as well as having to pay a recurring membership fee in order to be eligible to earn an income. The higher membership fee may earn more money, but probably will not be returned in the form of more sales.

How to make traffic exchange websites work for you

If you don’t drive visitors to your site, they won’t come to you in multitudes. And multitudes of visitors are what you need to make your website successful. Website advertising drives more traffic to your site through ads and links you distribute all over the Internet. However, ads are a less active way of driving traffic to your site. Once you post an ad, it’s up to the particular ad to attract viewers and entice them enough so they would visit your site. If you think you still need to do something more, well, why don’t you participate in a traffic exchange? A traffic exchange is a technique to drive more traffic to websites through traffic exchange programs. These programs or websites are websites that offer to increase the traffic in the sites of their members. The idea is to sign up with these programs. Once your site is listed as a member, you will then need to earn credits. These are gained by surfing through websites that belong to other members of the exchange. In exchange for your visit, you will be granted a credit. The more credits you earn, the more members of the traffic exchange will surf through your site. The credits you can earn equates to a certain number of visits that are driven to your site. However, members of traffic exchange programs also have the option to upgrade to a higher-level membership, which increases their credit ratio. This increases the number of visits equivalent to each credit they earn. In a nutshell, a traffic exchange is just like any simple exchange of benefits. Aside from exchanging traffic through the traffic exchange programs, however, members can also interact with other website owners in more ways. As a website owner, you will most likely come across sites that complement yours, as you surf and browse through other member sites. To get more benefits out of the traffic exchange program, you can contact the webmaster or owner of a website you’re interested in and can arrange to exchange links as well. These equates to plenty of benefits, given the small price you have to pay. All it takes is some time and effort. Some traffic exchange programs may charge some fees for additional features or extra credits. However, generally, traffic exchange programs are mostly free of charge and available to any website owner or webmaster who is not keen about leaving the dirty work up to static, unmoving ads and links. Traffic exchange is an easy way to generate more traffic to your site. This is a more active way of pursuing traffic, since the number of visits to your site depends on the number of websites you also browse through. The initial benefit of traffic exchange program is so downright advantageous that this is more or less a foolproof and a truly effective way to drive traffic to your site. Since it also has some other bonus advantages, then, you’ve got even more reason to sign up for a traffic exchange program now. Don’t just leave your ads to do the job. Reach out and make sure that traffic gets to your site. Traffic exchange is the way to do it.

Work from home promote your handmade soap business

Doing free soap making demonstrations is a win-win situation for the sponsor and the crafter. Many organizations have loyal members who are looking for new ideas and crafts. This is where you, as an experienced crafter, step in. You offer to do a free soap making class for the group and the charity/organization charges a nominal fee for any member wishing to attend the class. They provide the venue and you provide the expertise. They get to raise some much-needed funds, and you get a new customer base with a very loyal following. Virtually every charity across America is strapped for cash. They are always looking for new and creative ways to raise money. Many of their members are affluent and have their own businesses and volunteer their spare time to their favorite charity. More and more of these charities are offering classes taught by their members as a way of raising money. Their members have plenty of expertise in diverse fields that fellow members would love to know about. As an experienced soap maker and crafter you can provide the very thing that they would like to offer - a class in soap making from an experienced soap maker. When doing the class, remember an hour and a half is generally considered the maximum amount of time to keep a class interested in a specific subject. If you need to melt your oils beforehand, do that to save time. Do some background research on your fats and essential oils so you can integrate this knowledge into the class. Open the class to questions as you go along to maintain interest. Be very careful and take full safety measures with your lye solution. Doing a dry run and having family members ask you questions should iron out any wrinkles in your presentation and give you a degree of comfort that will show in your demeanor. Make sure you take some of your own products and promotional material to make available after class. This is where you can make valuable contacts that make the whole effort worthwhile. A basic handout at the beginning of class should cover the soap making process. Your name and website should appear at the bottom of the flyer. Take a wide variety of soap with you and offer a special class discount. You could even offer a secret supplier list for small fee to those who want to start a soap making hobby of their own. Stress the creative aspects of the endeavor and you will make soap making friends for life. Also explain that many different creams, bath salts, and body butters are offered by soap makers as complimentary items to their natural soap. And each soap maker has a different specialty. Especially with all of the exotic fats available nowadays, you can develop your own niche quite easily.

A legitimate home business opportunity is not going to have any hoops that you have to jump through, and it is going to lay out its business plan and its personnel in a way that makes it easy for you to understand and to research it.

How to take advantage of a free conference call

Some conference providers are bold enough to offer a full service conference call. With the entry of too many of them in the market today, the competition is getting tighter by the minute. The companies who choose to conduct free conference calling may be offering it as a lure for possible customers with the aim to make them become regular customers instead. Take advantage of a good free web conference calling promotion. This can be a good move, especially if you are not familiar with how conference calls work. Using a free conference call can give you the opportunity to learn how everything works and how you can benefit from, without the associated charges. A good free conference call should have the following features: 1. Allowance for a large number of callers. One free conference call provider can accommodate up to a hundred callers at the same time. This is a very large number of callers. Especially if the people you intend to talk to are prospective buyers. For a typical company meeting, a provider offering 20 to 25 participants should be sufficient. 2. Availability for the call length you want. Estimate how long your conference call would take. If less than an hour will do for you, then a free service should be adequate. However, if you expect the meeting to last a couple of hours, you should look for a free service that can cover you for a three hours time span. This allows for time for questions and feedback in addition to the main content of the call. 3. A toll-free dial-in number. Some free services are generous enough to allow you to use their toll-free number for your conference participants to use. Else, they might be giving you a local number where long-distance telephone charges apply. Check out what the free conference call number is. They might be adding other charges to the participant's telephone bill without you knowing about it. 4. The availability of access codes. The provider may indicate that you can have a hundred participants, but provide less conference pass codes than that. Read the fine print--you should be able to identify this in the planning stages. You might wonder if there is a catch with a conference call that is being given away free? The truth is that there could really be one. Therefore, it is up to you, the customer, to find out what the catches are. While some provide truly free service, some free services have numerous conditions that must be met in order to obtain the free service. Be wary of those. For those companies that claim to give out their service free, may only be doing so for a limited time. If you are really on the lookout for a free service, you should evaluate first the level of service you will obtain, as well as continued availability of the service. You do not want your business impacted by poor choices of free conference service provider. The bottom line here is that audio conference calls are offered free. It is just a matter of finding and choosing the best provider with which to host your call. You want to ensure that your conference call will go as intended. Remember that if your call is important enough, you may want to go with a paid service, as the level of service and features may be more in line with your needs.

3 Commonly asked questions about affiliate management

People have all kinds of questions about starting their own affiliate program and it’s always a good idea to be prepared. Starting and managing your own affiliate program isn’t something that can be done on the fly. It takes carefully preparation and planning, but the results are well worth it. Here are 3 commonly asked questions: Question 1: How much commission should I offer in my affiliate program? How much you offer will depend on the amount you can afford, taking into consideration the lifetime value of a customer, what your competition is doing and how attractive you can make your offer. As a general statement, information products usually have a higher commission rate - often between 25-50% with the higher end being more common. Consumer products with smaller profit margins can be as low as 5%, but don't often go above 20%. But what you charge should be based on your own unique business. Here are some more things to help you come to a decision: Sometimes it's okay to pay a bit more for a first-time customer who will buy from you over and over again. Always see what your competition is offering. You don't have to get into a commission war, just be sure to make your program very attractive through good conversion rates, unique and useful promotional tools and other attractive features. Question 2: What kind of affiliate tools should I provide to my affiliates? The simplest answer is: Give them what they want. Talk to your affiliates and see what they need to serve their unique audience needs, and where possible, provide it to them. For hard-hitting promotions, you can craft email copy, conduct live teleseminars with content and sales pitch, special reports, etc. For the content-starved webmaster (and there are plenty out there), give them things like articles, free ebooks and other informational content. The important thing is to listen to your affiliates and watch which tools convert best. Question 3: Q: Can I have an affiliate program with a service-based business? Sure you can. If you have a profit margin or a lifetime customer value that allows you to pay commissions, certainly. If you have services available that are at a set price, it's easy to automate everything and run your program, just like a product-based one. If you charge by the hour or have to give project estimates, it’s a little tougher to automate completely. Here are a few options: - Have a script that can track who referred your potential client to you. Ex. Affiliate recommends your service through a tracking link. Potential client clicks the link, checks out your website and fills out a form for more information. Your system tells you who referred the client and if they purchase your services, you can give the affiliate a commission. - You could do it as a pay-per-lead opportunity where the affiliate is paid a smaller fee for every person that fills out the form for more information. This would be easy to automate in most affiliate systems that can handle pay-per-lead transactions. - Don't want to go with a full-blown affiliate program? You can institute a client referral program where you simply allow your clients to recommend your service, in return for credit for services. When a new client comes to you, you ask where they heard about you and you add a credit to your referring client's account An affiliate force is an incredibly powerful thing and when you consider you don’t have to pay affiliates anything until they produce results for you, it’s one of the best deals going in Internet marketing today. Plan your program well and you’ll soon have your own active force of affiliates bringing you new customers every day.

Should i spend money on generating traffic and leads

Everybody who is doing Home Business is confronted many times with the choice whether or not to spend money on buying extra traffic or leads in order to speed up or increase their sales. And even though it is not too difficult to decide when to spend money it is still not an easy decision. First of all you need to decide what this investment will bring you in terms of sales compared to its costs. This is difficult, especially when you donЎЇt have any experience to base your assumptions on. Still, it is vital to think about this and make an estimate. The best way to tackle this is to break your assumptions down in small pieces in order to work out how many sales you are going to generate. For example, you buy 25.000 visitors to your webpage for US$ 100,-. You assume that this service will not deliver you a warm market. Therefore the chance is significant that people who will visit your page are not very interested. So assume that only 1 out of 5.000 visitors are actually interested. Assume also that 1 out of 4 who is interested will buy one product of US$ 50,-. In this case you will get 25.000 visitors divided by 5.000 are 5 people who are actually interested. Out of those 5 you will get 1,25 orders of US$ 50,- which equals US$ 62,50 of sales. As this service costs US$ 100,- you may decide not to purchase it. But even though only 1,25 sales are generated all the people who visited your webpage may bring in future sales. So you could as yourself what the chances are that some of these visitors come back in the future and buy something or that they tell somebody else about your webpage. Chances are slim, but this is just to illustrate that you need to think about several scenarios. Secondly, you need to decide if you have the budget to spend that much money. Even if you think you can turn a profit, they are based on your assumptions. Even worse, many times we decide those purchases based on the sales pitch of the service you buy. So, when you have a certain budget, and it is very wise to have one, try to stick to it. That doesnЎЇt mean you can never change your budget. Actually, this should be done periodically. In the end, you donЎЇt want to take too much risk and not being able to pay your other bills just because your assumption were too optimistic. Thirdly, are you willing to take the risk of investing money at all? But, any kind of business will bring some kind of risk. The question is therefore not if you need to take some risk, but is the risk bearable to you. DonЎЇt buy when it takes up to 50% of your total budget.

How to cash in on affiliate marketing deals without putting your social security number at risk

Are you tempted by affiliate deals but are afraid to do anything about it? Have they left you with big questions and bigger worries? I used to be worried too, but I think I've found a few answers to my questions: Question #1: Are those deals for real? Well, a lot of them sure are. (Always do your research and especially check out the products though.) Clearly, there are quite a few people raking in some serious dough -- from some very legitimate affiliate programs. Why shouldn't you be one of them? Maybe you have already found a site that you would like to promote. There's just one little problem... Question #2: How can I do this safely? Or can I? That was exactly the question I was asking myself when I came across a few VERY tempting affiliate deals. I was all excited and ready to sign up. In fact, I started signing up. And then I got to the part where they wanted my... (drum roll!) ... social security number! My what? They had to be kidding. Who in their right mind would give a stranger on the internet their social security number, I thought. Then again, it makes sense. If they pay me money and want to stay legit, they would need my social, right? After all, they'll have to send me my tax form at the end of the year. But what about identity theft? Giving them my SSN means I'm practically presenting them my line of credit on a silver platter. I might as well mail them my credit cards along with my birth certificate. Darn! I thought. First I did nothing. But I came across another one of those deals, and another one, and so on. Meanwhile, I had researched it enough to know that yes, affiliate deals are definitely for real. And then I came across the deal that was just too tempting to pass by. What to do? So I asked someone I trusted, someone who played a major part in my being able to build my first website. And he came through for me: he gave me the solution to the dilemma: Three letters: EIN Question #3: What the heck is that? Employer Identification Number. But you have no interest in employing anyone, you say? Not a problem. This is simply an ID number the IRS provides for your business use. It allows you to separate your personal finances from your business information, which is a good idea anyway. And it allows you to get money without disclosing your social security number, while still being legal and allowing the affiliate marketers who send you money to remain legal as well. Question #4: So how can you get one? That's easy. I could hardly believe it. It took me all of half an hour online, and that's with reading all the instructions. Here's the IRS's web page where you can apply: irs. gov/businesses/small/article/0,,id=102767,00.html Just click on "apply online." If you want more information, they have a link for that too. That's it. You'll be good to go. You can now give out a legitimate ID-number that does not jeopardize your personal finances. Isn't that cool? So go get your EIN and start pocketing your share of the affiliate marketing pie.

In choosing Internet hosting opportunities, small business owners are provided with promises of discretion by Internet hosting providers that intend to keep their company name away from the business presence you are trying to establish online. Make more money online with less customers

Most website owners are on the Internet to ultimately earn money. Internet marketing, traffic building, and search engine optimization has become a difficult challenge for all who seek the financial rewards from their ecommerce ventures. There are many ways to direct traffic to one's website, few are free, but most will cost you time, money, and patience to gradually develop. Many experts who have carefully analysed Internet traffic patterns admit that your website visitor will give you between 5 -10 seconds to influence them to stay. When you actually think about this, 5-10 seconds is a very short time to convince anyone about anything. Now you are expected to reassure a new client that has for the first time visited your site that your site is relevant to their immediate demands and desires, and will provide them with the primary solutions to their problems. How can this be done? Traditionally an acceptable online conversion rate for Opt-in clients versus buyers is about 1-2 percent. Simply put, one out of 100 visitors will possibly purchase from your website. These are just terrible odds. The vast majority of the ecommerce community seem to willingly accept these percentages as a part of doing business online. Most website owners constantly spend tons of money developing SEO tactics along with paid advertisements to lure bigger volumes of prospects to visit their website with no regards to super weak conversion ratios. New traffic should always be a priority, but, persuading prospects to buyers should rank supreme. Let's say for an example that your established website incorporates 10,000 opt-in clients. The traditional conversion rate is about 1.5 percent. These figures equal a potential sum of about 150 buying customers out of 10,000 clients. Now let's raise the bar to a 10 percent conversion rate. We now have 1000 consumers that have purchased from us, that's an increase of 850 buyers from the same opt-in list. Well you say, ok, but who actively produces a conversion rate of 10 percent? The answer is site owners who really understand their clients! Here are 10 steps to help you Make More Money Online with fewer Customers.... 1. Evaluate your website. Simplicity is the key here. The simpler the better. Review the biggest revenue bearing website on the world wide web today... Google. This site is as simple as it gets, that's the way the web visitors like. Simple navigation to destination articles or products should not be a difficult hurdle. Just click on a subject or title and your there, period. A maze of links and clicks turn visitors off, make it simple and to the point. Article or product links should be within 2 clicks. Your client should not have to thoroughly search your site for the pertinent information that they may desire. Remember you have less than 10 seconds to convince that client that this is the place for them, or else, Click, there Gone! 2. Clearly present what your website is all about. Your main header (headline) should clearly state what your website has to offer. Your potential customers should not have to guess or get frustrated while trying to determine the relevance of your site. Your customer is there to seek solutions to his or her problems, it's your job to resolve them, not to create another problem. 3. Establish your website with statements of confidence. Your website presentation should carefully place confidence into your visitors mind as a trusted authority of facts, information, or for products in demand. 4. Using Power words, Phrases, and Emotional Triggers. Compile a list of intelligent words that interact with your customer and your website peaking your customers interest. Power words are the essential ingredients to a successful website. These words respond with the mindset of your customer’s needs and the fundamental reason they are there. Power words further develop curiosity in your customer's mind. Can this product or informative article resolve my problem? Power words relate to the primary resolution of their problem, concerns, or desires. The more frequently you can establish a mutual relationship between your client's problems and the different ways you could possibly solve them, the more sales you will ultimately make. 5. Establish a Perceived Value to Opt-In. New clients will not give their email addresses out willingly to just anyone. Most customers already have flooded e-mail boxes with junk e-mail. Customers do not like receiving worthless junk mail that is consuming their time and annoying. Never try to sell your customers anything with your e-mail messages. Emails to clients should be committed to establish complete confidence and curiosity within your valued client. Email should be used as a tool to credibly connect the message that your website is a realistic resolution to their problems or desires. You definitely desire your customer to be eager to open your e-mail having them feeling confident that you will be helping them. Remember, this is your invitation to your website. Simply stated, these types of emails are called pre-sells. Making your client aware that your their trusted friend, and are here to help them. Concentrate your efforts for a long term relationship. Your main goal here is having your client enjoy receiving your emails and visiting your website. 6. Offer Rewards for Opt-Ins. Everyone enjoys acquiring free products. Offering a free product as a premium for Opt-in customers must have a perceived value relevant to your clients needs. Here again, you must offer a bonus that will generously provide your future client with an aid to the solution for their existing problem or desires. The bonus should always have a value attached, whether it is monetary or a way to cleverly save precious time or money. The bonus should also be solid with relevant information pertaining to the customers needs. The potential customer will appreciate that and award you with a vote of confidence. 7. Offer Quick Tips on your Home Page. Offering Quick Tips to your clients on your home page will inevitably increase your site's reviews. Everyone is always on the look-out for short cuts or new ways to accomplish tasks that will cleverly save them precious time and or money. Try to post new Quick Tips weekly if possible, and let all your clients know this. Quick Tips also carry long lived value. Your Quick Tips weekly column introduces a curiosity factor to your clients. What will they miss if they fail to view your site this week? 8. Set-up an auto-responder program that Pre-sells. Set-up your auto-responder as a public relations tool. Your auto-responder message should be set-up to notify your clients regarding new events, products, articles, or anything else that may primarily benefit your client. Developing curiosity is your main goal with your messages. Remember, you are not trying to sell them anything; you are establishing trust between you and your prospective client. Your site is there to help the client with their needs or desires. Your website provides solutions to their immediate demands. Do Not become an used car salesman here, become a close friend that cares! 9. Research. Compare similar website that offer the same types of services you offer. Review their popularity at Alexa. Alexa offers a free service that determines traffic rankings, related links, and more for all websites. Visit their site and download the free toolbar. Reviewing similar websites will aid you with your decision on how to better your own site with regards to popularity. When reviewing your competitor’s website, pay special attention to their website layout, design, bonus offers (if any), and navigation to pages of interest, and overall presentation. Ask yourself, what was your first impression of the site, was it easy to navigate, was it relevant to your demands, what could you do better to vastly improve their site, and finally, would you return to this site? 10. Establish a Perceived Value to your Website. By following and practicing the previous steps of this article, your website is destine to ultimately achieve success. The last step to your success is establishing a perceived value for your website. Just what is perceived value? Perceived value is the potential benefits a consumer Expects from a product or service. Also, this is a form of branding (developing awareness of a name or product). Take for an example Wal-Mart. When this name is mentioned, what are your thoughts? Friendly place to shop. Great selection of products to choose from. Assumption of outstanding pricing. Established name that is well trusted. In your mind you have determined that these are some of the influencing factors most companies should have to make you feel comfortable and confident while shopping there. Some prices may be higher, but you feel satisfied with your perceived value of such business. Understanding your customer is priceless, and learning how to obtain their confidence in your services is the real challenge. Provide service to your potential customer as a close friend, not as a percentage.

How to find and use file hosting

What’s the difference? While surfing the net in order to find free space for home video or favorite songs, users often confuse two things - web hosting and file hosting. So, what’s the difference? First of all, web hosting allows you to place your site on the web. And file hosting gives you free space, where you may store whatever you want - from files to songs. So, now you can save your time looking for file hosting instead of web hosting. Keywords First of all you must define why you need file hosting? Basically, there are 4 common types of files - video, images, music and data. If you are looking for any special file hosting server, you should use the keywords “file upload” and add the type of file. For example “file video upload”. Another good way is to type in SE “file hosting”. The best SE in my humble opinion are Google and Yahoo! So, start your search and I’ll tell you how to deal with file-hosting services. How to use it? Usually, file hosting services offer you to choose a file from your hard drive. As I’ve already said, you may choose mp3, video or any data you want. But keep in mind that the file must conform to upload restrictions. The upload limit may vary from 10 to 250 Mb. And this is not the only restriction. There may be upload and download speed limits, free space limits, and so on. But all these restrictions can be lifted if you sign up for “premium account”. So it’s up to you. After uploading a file you get a link that you can keep in the closet or share. Using this link you can download files whenever you want. There is no doubt that file hosting service is the most reliable and easy way to share and host your files.
